IT Department Initiative
AI literacy for every generation — from the youngest Pathfinder to the wisest elder. Presented by Oakwood University Church. Open to all.
The Moment We're In
Every generation faces a tool so powerful it scares us. The printing press. The calculator. The internet. Each time, the institutions that embraced it early didn't just survive — they led.
AI is that tool for our generation. The gap between those who understand it and those who don't is growing every single day. This isn't about Silicon Valley. It's about making sure our community — our youth, our entrepreneurs, our elders, our church — isn't left behind while the world rewrites itself.
Practical Skills. Immediate Impact.
Craft grant proposals, business plans, resumes, and church communications that move people — powered by AI, polished by you.
CommunicationFrom mobile apps to websites — create tools your church, business, or community can actually use. No CS degree required.
DevelopmentMarket research, branding, financial projections, marketing campaigns — AI gives entrepreneurs superpowers. Huntsville's next startup could be yours.
EntrepreneurshipStudents: research papers, study plans, tutoring on any subject, college prep. Adults: certifications, skill development, career pivots.

Our Approach
We teach AI as what it is: a tool. Like a hammer doesn't build a house — the carpenter does. AI doesn't think for you — it amplifies what's already there.
Our approach is grounded in critical thinking first, ethical use always, and practical application above everything. We're not creating dependence. We're creating command.
AI assists. You decide.
Values-guided. Always.
Every session ships something.
Our community has led for generations. This is the next frontier. Don't watch from the sidelines.
